The 5/6wt model is ideal for smaller species, including trout and panfish.

Great Starter Rods we use for middle school fishing club

We have maybe 20 of these. Their awesome rods that stand up to the kids abuse and they catch fish. What more could you want?

Excellent value

I like the rod as it is functional and a good value for the price. It works and will catch fish. It’s is a tad stiff and little heavy I’ve found 6wt line to load better and cast easier.
