Fished with the Ultra Fluoro 7x today. Caught plenty of fish. Love the 2.9lb test. I can fish with a smaller diamiter line and have the same test as 6x. I catch a lot of fish with my 7x.

This is by far the best fluorocarbon tippet available. I’m confident I’ve used every product available over the years and this one shines.
I guide on some highly pressured tailwaters here in the Ozarks. Cortland Ultra premium in 6x is my go-to workhorse in skinny water. Very rarely do I need to drop to 7x. But, when I do it pulls through for me just the same.
