Micron Fliegenschnur-Rückseite – Orange

Seems like a quality backing, the 100 yard spool was plenty for my 5wt reel. I havent had a fish run me onto the backing yet but i believe this line would withstand all the fish i target with my 5wt.

This line was recommended by several fellow cast net makers because it pulls smooth, clean and tight knots. They were absolutely correct! Good stuff!

I have used Micron backing in the past and am very pleased with it. I haven’t used this particular backing yet bought bought it for the color which comes in handy if a fish gets into your backing. I had that happen last year for the first time while steelhead fishing.

Not put it on my reel yet but.. Supposedly great line and superb quality according to a great deal of fishermen.. 😁 👍.

As with all Cortland lines it is just right. I only use Cortland line and there's no reason to try anything else.
