333 Sink Tip

The Classic Series 333 Sink Tip has been a staple to the fly-fishing industry for over 50 years. True to its original design, the 333 Sink Tip was one of the first sinking fly lines brought to the sport of fly fishing. With a Sink rate of 2-2.5 Inches per second, this line pulls your fly down into the feeding zone. Paired with a two-tone charcoal tip and mint green running line, the 333 coating keeps this line supple and durable, with easy visibility on the line at all times.

FAQ

Cleaning your fly line is very important especially when fishing saltwater. Simply pull line off your reel into a clean bucket or tub of freshwater. Put roughly 1oz or more of Cortland’s Line Cleaner solution onto a clean rag or towel. Firmly squeeze the towel with Pro Line Cleaner around the line and slowly pull line through the towel. You should be able to see dirt or discolored streaks on the towel when finished.

As good as 444, but without the wussie loops!

I like the line. No loops, but if you can tie a nail or needle not, no matter..

Don't get me wrong, I have more than my share of 444s, too, used them forever...but these 333 sinkers and sink tips are a screaming deal, and with a needle-or-nail knot, you're all set.

I super dig the boxes, too. Apparently they're the same graphics as the original lines, and holy cow, they look great to me.

Great!

Recently got some for a 5wt fiberglass set up, casts great, sinks great! I wish it was offered in a hi vis orange but not the end of the world.
